We Already Learned This
The internet already went through this. Flash intros, loading screens, heavy animations, websites that looked expensive and felt terrible to use. They were impressive for ten seconds, then everyone skipped them.
That is why I think about this when I see people calling AI generated videos “websites.” A website is not a showreel. It is a tool. If it does not load on normal devices, if it hides the point behind decoration, it is not beautiful. It is just noise with good lighting.
